Intermittent lane closures on Interstate 94 are beginning Monday, Oct. 7, between the Highway 27 and 29 interchanges
Road crews are expected to be on the freeway site for several days, removing crossovers that were in place this summer during the concrete resurfacing project from Highway 29 to Highway 114.
Drivers will also encounter crews working on the eastbound ramp from Highway 27 to the interstate. Expect lane shifts and possible flaggers while crews resurface the shoulders.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
