Structure fire in Douglas County results in loss of shed, vehicles

The structure and the vehicles inside appear to be a total loss.

ALEXANDRIA — The Douglas County Sheriff's Office and other entities responded to a structure fire in the early morning hours of Monday, March 27.

The structure was a machine shed located on County Road 77.

According to a news release, the shed was fully engulfed and partially collapsed by the time deputies arrived at approximately 1:43 a.m. The shed contained vehicles, a skidloader and lawn mowers.

The structure and the vehicles inside appear to be a total loss, the news release read.

Responding agencies included the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, the Osakis Fire Department and the Villard Fire Department.

The fire remains under investigation.
