Speech Team 4th in Sauk Centre meet

On Saturday, March 5, the Alexandria speech team competed at the speech meet in Sauk Centre. The team took the 4th place award as a team for the large school category.

On Saturday, March 5, the Alexandria speech team competed at the speech meet in Sauk Centre. The team took the 4th place award as a team for the large school category.

Individual achievements, after three rounds plus a final round, went to the following students: Caroline Roers, first place, great speeches and original oratory; Katelyn Steffel, first place, poetry; Jenna Seward, eighth place medal, informative; Alex Blaser, fifth place, extemporaneous speaking; Mariah Lichty and Gabrielle Cahlin, honorable mention, dramatic duo; Libby Lambert and Alex Blaser, honorable mention, drama; Katie Lovrien, second place, and Colin Robertson, fifth place, discussion; Mariah Lichty, fourth place, and Haley Thull, honorable mention, creative expression.
