The Echo Press is printing a special publication honoring Douglas County veterans.
Residents are encouraged to send a photo of their service member to include in the publication for free. Space is limited. Photos will be placed in the publication on a first come, first served basis. The deadline for submitting photos is Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Those submitting photos should include the service member's name, years of service, branch of military, the name and phone number of the person submitting the photo, and if the service member is deceased, the date of the death.
Those who want their photo returned to them must include a self-addressed stamped envelope or stop into the Echo Press office at 225 7th Ave. E, Alexandria to pick up the photo.
