Slow going for annual boat parade w/video

The weather may have kept some boats and pontoons off the lakes Wednesday morning for the annual Fourth of July boat parade.

Thunderstorms rolled through the area early on the Fourth of July with high winds and heavy rains. The boat parade, which was to start at 10 a.m. didn't have much action at first. However, around 10:45 a.m., parade goers were happy to see a few dozen decorated boats and pontoons hit the water.
