High school seniors have a shot at $2,500 college scholarships aimed at rural America.
The Foundation for Rural Service and the NTCA/The Rural Broadband Association are providing $2,000 scholarships, and college students sponsored by their local telecommunications provider can apply. Arvig announced that winners whose families are Arvig customers will receive an additional $500.
Eligible applicants must be seniors graduating from high school in 2021, accepted by an accredited school, carry at least a C average and express an interest in returning to a rural community after graduation.
Deadline to apply is Friday, March 5.
