Rollover on I-94 near Garfield sends one to hospital

On Sunday, Feb. 26, Kristi Anderson of Valley City, North Dakota rolled her vehicle on Interstate 94.

GARFIELD — Kristi Anderson, 69, of Valley City, North Dakota was sent to the hospital after a rollover on Interstate 94 on Sunday, Feb. 26.

According to the crash report , Anderson was heading east on the freeway in a 2006 Toyota Tacoma when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled into the ditch.

The accident happened near milepost 93, not far from the Garfield/Lowry exit in Moe township around noon.

Anderson — who was wearing her seat belt — was sent to Alomere Health in Alexandria to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol did not play a factor in the accident. Road conditions were snowy/icy.

Responding agencies include the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Brandon Fire Department and Ashby Ambulance.
