The fourth-ranked Cardinal girls' hockey team traveled to Detroit Lakes Saturday for a matchup with Section 6A foe Detroit Lakes.
The trip proved to be a show of offense for the Cards, who outscored their opponents 45-13 in the contest, giving Alexandria an 8-0 victory and a 14-1-2 record on the season.
Abby Williams had four goals with two assists, while Kathryn DelZoppo added two goals and four assists.
Michelle Anez picked up a goal and made five assists, while Nikki Ecklund scored once and Caitlin Murphy had two assists, with Ashley Holmes having one.
Danielle Justice recorded her sixth shutout of the season, stopping all 13 shots on goal by the Lakers.
