Radio Club offers testing this Saturday

The Runestone Radio Club of Alexandria will conduct examinations for amateur radio licensing on Saturday, January 12. The exams, held for all levels of amateur radio, will take place in the Brandon Senior Center. Talk will be on the 146.790 repeater.

Registration will start at 1 p.m. with testing to begin immediately thereafter.

Walk-ins are welcome.

A fee of $14 is required to cover cost of materials.

Participants are asked to bring two forms of identification, one of which must contain a photo. Also have a completed 605 form.

The club will furnish a form and help those who need help filling it out.
