Pope County offices are now offering in-person appointments to members of the public needing to transact county business in person.
To request an appointment to conduct County business, contact the appropriate county office directly. Phone numbers for the various County offices can be found on the Pope County website at www.co.pope.mn.us by clicking on the "County Directory" tab at the top of the page.
Those with a cell phone may elect to use their text messaging function through the "No Wait Inside" app to facilitate their county appointment once scheduled, although use of a cell phone or text messaging is not required to make an appointment.
Appointments are for 10 minutes or less in duration and will be held in or adjacent to the lobby area in each county facility rather than in individual offices. Visitors attending appointments inside a county facility must adhere to social distancing rules and wear a face covering in accordance with county policy, as must members of county staff during meetings with the public.
Visitors and staff will also be subject to screening questions before meeting to mitigate potential risks of COVID-19 exposure to the public or staff.

Pope County will continue to provide all critical public services and now offer this additional method of in-person appointments. There may be some limited, optional services that may not be fully available or not yet available by appointment.
More information on services may be obtained by calling the appropriate office. If you are unsure which office to contact, call 320-634-7700 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or 320-634-5411 after hours.
Pope County still strongly encourages those able to accomplish county business by phone, mail, email, and county website, to keep doing so, rather than by making any unnecessary in-person visits to county facilities.
