January 24
An apartment on 5th Avenue East was broken into and several items were stolen, including a paintball gun, 2,000 paintballs, $220 in cash and about $60 in change.
Bold Fusion on Highway 29 North was broken into and the front door was damaged in the process. Items stolen included a cash box with $50 cash, two checks totaling $149 and a computer jump drive.

A two-vehicle crash occurred at Jefferson Street and 6th Avenue East. The driver of a 1993 Chevrolet, Thomas Barker, 22, of Osakis was taken to the Douglas County Hospital. His passenger, Joshua Holby, 22, and the other driver, Ruth Okley, 39, of Elk River, were reportedly not injured.
January 26
A delivery sign on a Godfather's Pizza delivery vehicle was stolen from a parking lot on 30th Avenue West.
There were 11 property damage incidents reported with the majority of the damage being some type of broken glass. (See related front-page story.)

January 21
Two fish houses on Lake Charlie were broken into. No further information was available.
January 23

A two-vehicle crash sent two people to the Douglas County Hospital. The crash happened at the intersection of County Roads 45 and 90 shortly before 2:30 p.m. Amanda Jones, 24, of Hoffman, who was driving a 1994 Dodge and Andrea Rau, 28, of Alexandria, who was driving a 2007 Mazda were treated at Douglas County Hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Alexandria Fire Department and North Ambulance responded to the scene.

A door to a fish house on Lake L'Homme Dieu was reportedly damaged.
January 26
About 19 storage units at Town Hall Road Storage Units were paintballed with yellow paint.
A semi truck loaded with groceries went off the road and into the ditch on Interstate 94 near mile marker 88. No further information was available.
