Wittmer was initially charged with two counts of felony criminal sexual conduct in the first degree in relation to an incident in which he assaulted a 10-year-old in 2018.
These charges and another charge of felony criminal sexual conduct in the second degree were dismissed as part of a plea agreement in which he agreed to plead guilty to the count of which he was convicted.
