The Viking Plaza in Alexandria was bustling with activity Saturday.
Besides the usual Christmas shoppers, the mall was filled with specialty vendors selling their wares; everything from calendars to wood carvings were displayed along the mall’s walkways.
Local nonprofits were also out, hoping to raise funds for their organizations, including the Douglas County Humane Society, Titus 2 Ministry, Salvation Army and Ellie’s Legacy Pet Rescue.
