OSAKIS — The Osakis School Board approved a group of bids related to its completed bus garage at its regular meeting on Monday, Oct. 10.
This included a bid for concrete work without sealer. Two bids were received for this portion, one with sealer, one without, at a difference of about $1,000.
The sealer can be applied at a later date.
There is room in the contingency plan to cover the work encompassed by the bids, said district business manager Justin Dahlheimer.
The bus garage is located on First Avenue East near Rush Street, a couple blocks southeast of the school. The facility will be able to accommodate 15 buses and three vans, along with wash and maintenance bays and support space.
