Citation for parking too far from curb, obstructing traffic, 1st Avenue E.

Public assist, two-vehicle crash, car is trying to leave before tow gets there, Nokomis Street E.

March 10

Five vehicles towed for snow removal, citations issued for parking violations, Main Street E.

DARE education presentation.

Patrol at end of school.

Citation for speed, 1st Avenue E.

Animal complaint, yellow lab and white pit bull running loose, advised person that next time there will be a citation, Oak Street W.

Domestic, son fighting with dad, citation issued, adult arrest, 2nd Avenue W.

March 11

Warning for headlight out, 4th Avenue E.

Three citations for winter parking violations.

Medical, transported, Lake Street E.

Public assist, Caller requesting call back, stated there was someone unknown in her house that morning, caller says a bar of soap was stolen, elderly and seems confused, advised her to lock the doors, 9th Avenue E.

March 12

Permit to acquire handgun, Nokomis Street E.

Check welfare of person, male with possible overdose, ambulance arrived, person refused further medical attention, person is fine, person refused crisis hot line phone number, called back caller, Nokomis Street E.

March 13

Patrol at start of school, 1st Avenue E.

Yellow lab found, no collar, taken to police department, Nokomis Street W.

Patrol at end of school, 1st Avenue E.

Hit and run crash, black crew-cab pickup backed into caller and left, no plate, 1st Avenue E.
