Good Clean Fun Productions, along with Carlos Creek Winery, presents "Imagine That...The Music and Magic of Patsy Cline," featuring Cassie and the Bobs.

The event is slated for Saturday, August 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. and is being held in conjunction with Carlos Creek Winery celebrating its 10-year anniversary.

Cassie and the Bobs will create a musical journey going back to the early 1960s to hear the music of the biggest female singer in the country, Patsy Cline.

It all began about a year ago when the Prairie Wind Players presented the musical "Always Patsy Cline" in Barrett's Roosevelt Hall.

The response to the music was so overwhelming that it was decided to continue performing the music of Patsy Cline without the dramatic presentation.

Cassandra Wiese fronts the band with her amazing vocal and dramatic ability. She takes on the persona of Patsy Cline during the performance. The band includes piano, fiddle, bass, guitars, pedal steel guitars and drums.

Wiese portrays Patsy Cline with special songs like "Crazy," "Walking After Midnight," "I Fall to Pieces" and other Patsy Cline favorites. Wiese was previously the lead singer in The Undecided and The Chance.

Accompanying Wiese are the "Bobs," who have many talented musicians.

Guitarist Terry Kennedy has played guitar, banjo and harp since the 1960s with Patty and the Pinetones, The Barking Frogs and the Acoustic Cats.

Randy Barnes began playing steel guitar in 1972 and was heard in many bands until 1997. Since then, Barnes has performed with the Alexandria Opry Musical and appeared in "Always Patsy Cline." He has also been involved in many other community musical projects.

Fiddle sensation Sami Steidl performs with Irish music act Skilly and Duff, as well as many school, community and church groups. Steidl currently studies classical viola at St. Cloud State University.

The Bobs' bass guitarist and musical director is Bruce Kelly. Kelly is a music veteran who brings nearly 40 years of experience to the show. Some of Kelly's previous bands include Little Henry, Silverado and the Oh Aces. He is also performs with Skilly and Duff.

Anne O'Flynn plays piano and accordian, bringing the true honky-tonk style to the show. O'Flynn is another member of Skilly and Duff.

Drummer Tony Ray has been a member of numerous rock, country and blues bands since 1974 including Ruckus, The Rockets, Trax, The Undecided and the Oh Aces.

Steve Ahles plays lead guitar with the Bobs. Ahles is another music veteran having played in Little Henry. He is also the guitarist in many community and church groups.
