Motorcycle driver seriously injured in I-94 crash west of Alexandria

The driver was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

ALEXANDRIA — A motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries in a crash about eight miles west of Alexandria Wednesday night, July 27.

Eric Anthony Tonn, 36, of Hutchinson was driving a Triumph Tiger east on Interstate 94 near mile post 92 in Moe Township when it crashed shortly before 7 p.m., according to the State Patrol.

Tonn, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office and Brandon First Responders assisted at the scene.
