Senior Pierce Peters of Minnewaska scored his 1,000th career point Tuesday night, but it wasn't enough to give the Lakers a win as they fell to Montevideo 62-59.
Peters needed just two points to reach that mark, hitting it on a free throw in the first half. He finished the night with 14 points.
