Fergus Falls man dies after medical emergency at Bass Lake

Emergency workers performed life-saving measures on the man and Ringdahl Ambulance took him to Lake Region Healthcare where he was pronounced dead, the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office said.

UNDERWOOD, Minn. — A 65-year-old man died on Sunday, Jan. 29, after suffering a medical emergency on Bass Lake.

The man, who was from Fergus Falls, later died from the medical condition, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, who responded to the scene.

Emergency workers performed life-saving measures on the man and Ringdahl Ambulance took him to Lake Region Healthcare where he was pronounced dead, said Lt. Greg Seim of the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office has not released any other details, including the man's name or what caused the medical emergency.
