Luncheon planned at Kensington Area Heritage Society

The Kensington Area Heritage Society is once again hosting a fundraising luncheon in celebration of Eleanor Gunderson's life-long interest in preserving the history of the area.

The Kensington Area Heritage Society is once again hosting a fundraising luncheon in celebration of Eleanor Gunderson's life-long interest in preserving the history of the area.

The noon luncheon is set for Saturday, February 27 at the Kensington Community Center. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m.

The lunch, which will be catered by Kensington Café, will be served at noon. The menu includes London chicken, scalloped potatoes, green beans with cheese sauce, rice pudding, rosettes, buns and beverages.

A drawing for door prizes will take place at 1 p.m.

There will be a display and scrapbooks available for guests to browse.

Reservations are required and the cost to attend is $10 per person, as long as guests register by Saturday, February 20. After February 20, the cost per person is $15.

There will be no refunds and the organizers cannot guarantee availability without reservations.
