ALEXANDRIA — Eli Brown will perform at the Saturday Art Market in Alexandria on Sept. 3 at Big Ole Central Park.
Brown grew up in Alexandria and played for 15 years at open mics. He started playing public shows in the area about five or six years ago. He then decided to move south last October and make music a full time gig.
“I play 15 shows a month down there and when it gets too hot I come up and play music here for about a month,” Brown said in a news release.
He is currently working on new music for a new album.
The Alexandria Art Guild organizes the Saturday Art Market, which takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is the final Saturday Art Market of the year.
