DOUGLAS COUNTY – Despite the gloomy, rainy weather conditions on Saturday, April 30, prom night for students from many area high schools, including Alexandria, Osakis and Brandon-Evansville, was not dampened.

Dozens of couples in formal attire walked across stages or gym floors during their grand march, posing for photos for family and friends. Many students attended the dance portion of their prom, as well as the post prom parties that were held that evening into the next morning.
