The Alexandria Golf Club's application for an on-sale liquor license was approved at Monday night's city council meeting.
Because the club isn't open year-round, it applied for a license that will allow it to sell liquor at its bar, "Mulligans," from April through the end of the year.
The $4,500 annual fee the city charges was pro-rated for a partial year so the charge was $3,375.
The club had the same arrangement with Douglas County when it was located outside the city limits, according to City Administrator Jim Taddei.
The council held a public hearing to get input on the request and no one spoke.
