Wednesday, July 11

Crash with deer, motorcycle collided with deer, driver transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Andes Road Southwest, County Road 107 Southwest, Kensington.

Driving complaint, caller had questions about side-by-sides driving on road.

Animal complaint, caller reported skunk in trap.


Assist other agency, crash, two vehicles, 5th Avenue West and Fillmore Street, assisted with traffic.

Burning complaint, report of a burn on west side of road, looks like it was started by farm machinery, fire was out when deputy arrived, Lowry.

Theft, two bags of personal papers were stolen from vehicle while parked in driveway.

Public assist, comp is being harassed over some photos.

Burglary, comp came home and converter box and wallet, which were on the table, were stolen.

Property damage crash, minor crash, no injuries, County Road 82 and Railroad Street, Evansville.

Juvenile trouble, called said kids were digging dirt from under the tar road and was concerned a car would fall through, parents contacted, kids advised to fill in hole, was filled in before deputy left the scene.

Water complaint, surfing complaint, middle of the lake, Lake Victoria.


Crash with deer, vehicle struck deer, sustained front-end damage, no injuries, Crestwood Drive Northeast and Highway 29 North.

Thursday, July 12

Assist other agency, man in and out of traffic, trying to hitchhike.

Suspicious vehicle, unoccupied vehicle parked on private property, owner of vehicle has permission to be there, Garfield.

Suspicious activity, caller requesting extra patrol, believes someone is entering property, taking scrap metal.

Public assist, request for a standby in the area for potential heated meeting.

Fire, ditch on fire on west side of County Road 3 near County Road 73, Osakis.

Suspicious vehicle, vehicle parked in front of post office for two days, Garfield.


Suspicious activity, caller said someone left a pontoon trailer at the end of his driveway.

Bicycle incident, person fell off bike, semi consciousness.

Animal complaint, caller would like to speak to deputy regarding dog that growled at her when she walked by, Evansville.

Suspicious vehicle, caller stating a vehicle is parked in front of his house, Brandon.



Wednesday, July 11

Noise complaint, loud music coming from an apartment, person was told to turn it down.

Property damage crash, two vehicles, one backed into another in a parking lot.

Animal complaint, dog in kennel in back seat of truck, windows are down.

Shoplifting, one female in custody, citation issued.

Skateboard complaint, two younger males used business ladder to get on the roof and skateboard.

Animal complaint, caller saw a small brown and white hairy dog heading west on the road.

Fraud, person was scammed by Publishers Clearing House.

Personal injury crash, two vehicles, 5th Avenue West, Fillmore Street, one person cited for driving after revocation, no insurance, failure to stop at sign, child restraint violation.

Driving complaint, wrong way driver.

Property damage crash, two vehicle minor crash, Highway 29 South.

Theft, caller stated he had an expensive ring stolen out of his vehicle today.

Criminal damage to property, caller reported a gas tank was drilled.

Found animal, caller found a cat in a plastic bag along the side of the trail, animal is still alive and was brought to humane society.

Shoplifting, woman arrested on a warrant and citation issued for theft.

Driving complaint, truck all over the road, driver cited for speed.

Harassment, comp lives in basement, said tennant upstairs is trying to flood her apartment to get her to move out.

Drug related activity, comp smells marijuana coming from an apartment.

Thursday, July 12

Traffic hazard, piece of wood in the middle of the road.

Suspicious person, man sleeping at the top of stairs and doesn’t belong there.

Driving complaint, vehicle going at a high rate of speed and fishtailed.

Suspicious person, older man trying to hitch a ride with people in the area.

Suspicious vehicle, caller stated there is a semi parked in the road.

Hit and run, caller reported hit and run, 3rd Avenue East.

Assault, caller said she got a rock thrown at her by her neighbor.

Theft, man dropped his wallet and he reported that someone picked it up and used his credit card.

Littering complaint, caller would like to speak to officer about people using the church dumpster.

Information, ATV and trailer stolen from residence in Otter Tail County.

Suspicious person, man walking on the street, looked disoriented.

Criminal damage to property, caller would like to speak to officer about some damage.
