Jeff Patience, Maureen Eigen win Alexandria School Board primary, according to unofficial results

Three candidates – Jeff Patience, Maureen Eigen and Jeremy Smith – filed for the special one-year term election.

Jeff Patience and Maureen Eigen are the winners of the Alexandria School Board primary election on Tuesday, Aug. 10, according to unofficial results.

Their names will both appear on the ballot in the special one-year term election that will take place Nov. 2. A third candidate, Jeremy Smith, received the fewest votes.

With all precincts reporting, Patience had 1,111 votes, Eigen had 613 and Smith had 357.
