State Senators Joe Gimse, R-Willmar, and Bill Ingebrigtsen, R-Alexandria, are going on a whistle-stop tour to give a briefing on illegal immigration issues in their districts and the state.
They will share the results of the extensive information gathering meetings held during the past several months.
They will also outline legislative direction they intend to follow in the upcoming session and their collaboration with the governor's office on immigration issues.
They will stop at the Alexandria City Hall next Thursday, January 17 from 12:30 to 1 p.m.
