The Red Letter Band will be in concert at Grace Church in Alexandria on Sunday, January 27 at 4 p.m.
The band formed about six years ago at Reynolds Baptist Church in Long Prairie. Since then they have performed concerts at numerous churches, schools, county fairs, community celebrations and parks throughout west central Minnesota.
Band members include Josh Anderson, leader, guitarist and lead singer; his wife, Rachel, vocalist and harmonica player; lead guitarist Patric Doyle; Kyle Sellnow, bass guitarist; Ronn Mindeman, guitarist; Karina Roe, keyboard and vocals; and Kevin Mason, drummer.
Josh Anderson is youth pastor at Reynolds Baptist Church and also serves as a deputy for the Todd County Sheriff's Department. Rachel Anderson is a nurse at Long Prairie Hospital and Mindeman is a teacher at Long Prairie-Grey Eagle public school. The other members are currently college students.
The band has produced a CD entitled, I'll Be There.
