Douglas County is now using a web-based system for residents wanting to make appointments with individual departments.
The Douglas County License Bureau is one of the departments anticipating a strong desire by residents to schedule an appointment for the renewal of drivers’ licenses.
“We understand residents have been waiting a long time for in-person services, including driver’s license renewals and driver permits,” said License Bureau Director Susan Crotteau. “We believe the ability to schedule appointments online will reduce wait times for everyone.”
The No Wait Inside software is customized to meet the needs of individual departments. Each department using it will have a separate link provided on their Douglas County website landing page. You can also find the link for the License Bureau on the home page ww.co.douglas.mn.us under Quick Links – Drivers License Scheduling App.
Users may click on the link and follow the instructions to schedule an appointment. A text message will be sent with further instructions to the user.
Douglas County residents may continue to call for appointments with all departments and services will continue to be provided by use of curbside service at the license bureau and library, drop boxes at the county courthouse and services center as well as mail and email.
