The date of a town hall meeting hosted by Congressional candidate Joel Novak of Alexandria at the Depot Express in Alexandria has been changed to Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m. It was initially set for Oct. 24.

Novak is running as a Republican for U.S. House District 7 which is currently represented by DFLer, Collin Peterson of Detroit Lakes.

Novak said his 10-minute talk will focus on how the U.S. Congress has legislated law that the U.S. Constitution does not allow it to create. The talk will be followed by questions on any federal issue that the U.S. Constitution allows the U.S. House of Representatives to legislate.

Novak said he also wants to hear what citizens would like him to do as a Congressman, and to hear their concerns about the U.S. government.

Other key leaders will be invited to speak also.

Additionally, Novak is available for interviews or appearances. Please email to set up appearances or interviews.
