First baby born during National 4-H Week receives blanket

ALEXANDRIA — National 4-H Week is the first week in October and gives clubs a chance to bring community awareness to the 4-H program.

The Lake Mary Troopers 4-H Club has made and given a blanket to the first baby born during National 4-H Week for more than 50 years.

This year's recipient is Benjamin James Brinkman. He was born at Alomere Health on Oct. 2, 2022. His proud parents are Megan and Andrew Brinkman.
