Evangelical Covenant Church in Alexandria is offering adult connections every Sunday morning in March and April. These courses are designed to help participants make friends, learn how to handle everyday challenges and understand what it means to experience life with God. The classes are free and open to the public.
Adult connections offered at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday include the following:
- "Helping others through the storm" - a course to help you understand various types of mental illness and learn how to communicate and help those who struggle with these issues.
- "Christian calisthenics: the basics of spiritual disciplines" is a group interaction course with the goal of discovering the inner life and principles that govern it.
- "The miracle of life change" is a video-based discussion that will explore how to break out of a destructive lifestyle and become the person you've longed to be, and how to identify barriers that have held you back from receiving God's best.
At 11 a.m. each Sunday, "Exploring covenant affirmations" will feature video presentation, biblical study and discussion and reflection, exploring the historic and theological foundations of Evangelical Covenant churches.
Nursery care is available at both times. Ministries for preschoolers and students in grades K-12 are available during the 9:45 classes. For information or to register, call (320) 763-5659 or e-mail
