Ella Leohner of Alexandria and Benjamin McGahee of Tucson, Arizona announce their engagement.
Ella is the daughter of Cheryl Larson of Alexandria and the late Stephen Leohner of Menomonie, Wisconsin. She is a 2000 graduate of Lac qui Parle Valley High School in Madison. She is a student at Alexandria Technical College and plans to graduate in 2010. She is an activities assistant at Knute Nelson in Alexandria.
Benjamin is the son of Pamela McGahee and Richard McGahee of Tucson. He is a 2001 graduate of Catalina Foothills High School in Tucson and a 2007 graduate of the University of Arizona in Tucson. He is a mathematics instructor at Pima Community College in Tucson.
A July 17, 2009 wedding is planned in Alexandria.
