Amanda Johnson and Rory Shea, both of Atwater, are engaged to be married August 15 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Atwater.
Amanda is the daughter of Michael and Sheryl Johnson of Atwater. She is a 2005 graduate of New London-Spicer High School in New London. She is employed as a direct support professional by REM South Central Services in Willmar.
Rory is the son of William and Janis Shea of Atwater. He is a 2004 graduate of Atwater Cosmos Grove City High School in Grove City. He is employed as a mechanical assembler at Douglas Machine in Alexandria.
The couple currently lives in Brandon and is planning to move back to New London.
