Downtown Osakis hosts Taste of Osakis event

The streets of Osakis were packed on Saturday, Sept. 10, for the Taste of Osakis event. The event featured many food vendors and entertainment options, including a night of music that was headlined by the Eli Young Band.

OSAKIS - A bevy of people came to downtown Osakis on Saturday, Sept. 10, for the Taste of Osakis event.

The event featured many different things for patrons to enjoy and a variety of food vendors.

For entertainment options, there was the O-Town Bean Bag tournament, a national guard rock wall, Erickson’s Petting Zoo, Clueless The Balloon Twister, bounce houses, the Trowbridge Creek Mobile Zoo, professional bull riding and more.

Craft vendors and carvers also packed the streets as well.

The event started at 10 a.m. and ended with a concert and a parking lot party in the evening. Junkyard Caddy and Anderson Daniels performed (Junkyard Caddy at 6 p.m. and Anderson Daniels at 7:30 p.m.) at the concert, with the Eli Young Band headlining the night.


This was the third edition of the Taste of Osakis event, which evolved from the Moonshine Madness event.
