Scholarships
- Abigail Klitzke of Alexandria received a $14,000 Distinguished Dragon Scholarship from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Abigail is a graduate of Alexandria Area High School. Abigail’s parents are Leah and William Klitzke. The Distinguished Dragon scholarship is an academic achievement award of $14,000 over four years. Recipients must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.9 or ACT score of 30.
Other honors
Daniel Savageau of Alexandria was a nominee for Homecoming King at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. Savageau will graduate this spring with a major in elementary education. Coronation ceremonies were held Oct. 19.
