Special accomplishments
- Alexandria resident Mya Santelman, a student at Gustavus Adolphus College, will join the Gustavus Adolphus Wind Orchestra on a 16-day tour of Europe, playing in Spain and France. The tour will last from Jan. 19-Feb. 1. The tour's final concert will be in St. Peter, Minnesota, on Feb. 18.
- Myra Nelson and Mya Santelman, both of Alexandria, were selected to participate in the Christmas in Christ Chapel at Gustavus Adolphus College from Dec. 2-4. The production included more than 350 performers and it combined music, dance, and theatrical presentations.
