Three School District 206 students were selected for the Minnesota Band Directors Association 6-8 and 9-10 Honor Bands.
Selected to the 9-10 Honor Band were Grace Griffin, grade 10, trumpet, and Paul Meland, grade 9, tenor saxophone. Chosen for the 6-8 Honor Band was Carl Branch, grade 8, French horn. More than 600 students auditioned statewide.
The students will rehearse Saturday, April 9 at Farmington High School and perform a concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 10.
