Dining Around Douglas, a YMCA fundraiser, will take place this Sunday, March 29.

The event will take place at the Holiday Inn with social hour running from 6 to 6:30 p.m. and the dinner/presentation to take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

During the event, guests will be able to sample signature entrees from some of Douglas County's finest restaurants.

Each of the 16 food and/or beverage vendors will have mouth-watering samples of their signature entree or dessert at their table.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the YMCA scholarship program.

Tickets are $30. There is a chance to win gift certificates included in the price.

The YMCA will also be auctioning off some great items, including an overnight stay at Holiday Inn in Alexandria, soup made by the Y's executive director every month for a year, a $2,700 four-seat roadster bike and many other items.

Tickets for this event can be purchased at Bremer Bank, the YMCA office (901 Highway 29 North, Suite 206) or at the door.
