The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the cause of an infant's death.
On January 30, officers responded to an apartment at 401 34th Avenue East for an infant who was non-responsive.
Upon arrival, they found the infant deceased.
An autopsy was performed Thursday by the Ramsey County medical examiner; results won't be known for several weeks, said Alexandria Police Chief Rick Wyffels.
