Alexandria's dance team picked up a big win Friday night, defeating Fergus Falls 115-94 in high kick competition at halftime of the boys' basketball game.
"With quite a few changes and some new formations in their kick routine, the girls really kicked it up a notch and had a great performance," said Cardinal coach Christine Reilly.
The Cardinals will compete in the Central Lakes Conference championships meet at Sartell on Saturday.
