Jarrett Bous, 58, of Johnson City, Texas, who once lived in the Alexandria lakes area, was arrested in Alexandria on Thursday, July 23, in connection with a homicide that took place in Blanco County, Texas.
Michael Fuller, assistant chief deputy with the U.S. Marshals Service in Minnesota, said the North Star Fugitive Task Force in Minnesota received information from the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in Texas that Bous was in this area and that there was a murder warrant out for his arrest.
Fuller said he does not have any details on the case as the U.S. Marshals Service “typically doesn’t get that info.”
He said Bous, who has relatives in the area, was apprehended and taken into custody without incident and is in the Douglas County Jail.
Fuller said Bous will go through the state extradition process and does not know when he will be returned to Texas.
He had no further information on the case or the process.
