At its Monday meeting, the Alexandria City Council appointed 59 election judges for the Aug. 14 primary election and the Nov. 6 general election.
All the judges completed the required two hours of training.
Minnesota law requires the appointments at least 25 days before the election.
Another item from Monday's meeting that wasn't reported in other council stories: A position is open on the city of Alexandria's Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board.
