The public is invited to take a free one-hour trial session of Zumba or Pilates.
Instructor Stephanie Muehlenhardt will offer Zumba on Wednesday, September 10 from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. at Discovery Middle School in Alexandria. This beginning level class combines dance and fitness by fusing Latin rhythms with cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, mambo, rumba, flamenco and hip hop styles.
Instructor Britta Duffy-Buckner will offer Pilates on Wednesday, September 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Alexandria Area High School. Learn natural movements of the body using slow and controlled movements. The class will focus on core strength to strengthen the back, as well as flexibility, posture and balance. Bring a towel and a mat if you have one
