An informational meeting regarding Alexandria's stormwater management ordinance will be held Wednesday, February 10 at 2 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Alexandria City Hall, 704 Broadway.
Staff will give a brief presentation discussing the city's stormwater management ordinance. The purpose of this ordinance is to set forth the minimum requirements for stormwater management that will diminish threats to public health, safety, public and private property and natural resources of the city by establishing performance standards.
A copy of the draft ordinance can be obtained at city hall or online at www.ci.alexandria.mn.us under the Stormwater link.
The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and provide comments. Please note that written comments following the meeting are also encouraged.
A public hearing regarding this ordinance will be held with the City Council on February 22 at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
