The Chippewa River Watershed Project (CRWP) is hosting its annual meeting on Thursday, April 18 at the Starbuck Community Center in Starbuck. The evening begins with registration and social gathering at 5 p.m., meal at 6 p.m. and program at 7 p.m.
During the social gathering, displays will be set up for guests to enjoy. The program will include updates on the CRWP, results from the 2012 monitoring season, and the introduction of a conservation planning tool that incorporates both biophysical data and stakeholder values to identify priorities.
This year's CRWP Annual Meeting will be an opportunity to share preferences and values as they relate to watershed restoration and protection needs. Attendees' input will be collected through a systematic and interactive method to be incorporated into the conservation planning model.
Everyone is invited to attend this public event. Meals are free with pre-registration. Reservations are requested by Tuesday, April 16. Call (320) 269-2139, extension 120 or e-mail jennifer.hoffman@chippewariver.org to register.
