The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary that happened at the Corral Supper Club in Nelson.

According to authorities, on March 14, at 5 p.m. it was reported that a safe in the facility's liquor room had been pried open and the lock was knocked out of it.

Cash was taken from the safe, but investigators were not willing to disclose the amount.

The cash taken was reportedly the proceeds from the Nelson Men's Club's pull tab fund.

Details were limited as the investigation continues.
