ALEXANDRIA — The gym next to the Douglas County Library was busier than usual on Saturday, March 4.
That's because it was the site of a storybook princess meet and greet, where area youngsters had the opportunity to meet a "real" storybook princess, "Belle's best friend" Lara Akal.
Akal was from a company called Occasions with Character and spent at least two hours meeting with visitors in the gym.
The meet and greet was sponsored by the Douglas County Library Friends and Foundation.
