Alabama man injured in rollover on I-94 near Alexandria

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Alomere Health in Alexandria.

A 66-year-old man from Alabama was injured in a one-vehicle rollover on Interstate 94 just west of Alexandria late Sunday night, April 25.

Eddie Ray Guffey of Bridgeport was driving a 2012 Toyota Camry when it left the roadway near mile marker 98 in LaGrand Township and rolled onto its side, according to the State Patrol.

Guffey, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Alomere Health in Alexandria.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Ashby Ambulance responded.

Road conditions were drive. The Camry’s airbag didn’t deploy.
