Both drivers were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 27 west of Alexandria on Wednesday morning, Oct. 6.

Brian Henry, 63, of Carlos was backing his 2008 Chevy Silverado into a driveway on Highway 27, east of County Road 7, when his vehicle was struck by a 2015 Chrysler 200 driven by Corey Neal, 28, of St. Cloud, according to the State Patrol. Neal was driving west on Highway 27.

They were both taken to Alomere Health in Alexandria to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, the accident report said. Both of them were wearing seat belts.

The crash happened in Holmes City Township shortly before 7 a.m.

Responding agencies included the State Patrol, Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Kensington Fire Department, Holmes City Fire Department and North Memorial Ambulance.
