A Park Rapids man was injured Sunday afternoon, May 17, when his motorcycle crashed on Highway 114 about seven miles southwest of Alexandria.

Stephen Robert Lindgren, 38, was driving a 1998 Kawasaki EX250 south on HIghway 114 in Holmes City Township at about 2:35 p.m. when he went off the road at a curve just before County Road 26, according to the State Patrol.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Holmes City First Responders and North Memorial Ambulance responded to the scene.

Lindgren, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to AIomere Health in Alexandria. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
